بعد تعافيه من الإدمان.. مصفف شعر أمريكي يساعد المدمنين بقصات شعر مجاناً

تمتلك الإنسانية الكثير من الوجوه، فدائماً ما نجد أن مفهوم الإنسانية هو مساعدة الشخص لغيره من أجل التعافي والنهوض مرة آخري، وهو ما فعله جيسون شنايدمان مصفف الشعر الذي يتجول في الشوارع من أجل تغير ملامح المشردين والمدمنين للأفضل.

مصفف الشعر الذي يبلغ من العمر 49 يمتلك خبرة في تصفيف الشعر منذ عام 1984، عندما بدأ قص الشعر لأصدقائه حتى وصل لأن يكون من أشهر مصفف الشعر في ولاية لوس أنجلوس الأمريكية، ومسئول عن نجوم هوليوود مثل "برونو مارس، وروب لو، وجيمس كوردن، وهيو جاكمان، وجوناه هيل".

بدأ شنايدمان حملته لتصفيف الشعر للمشردين والمدمنين منذ سنوات، من أجل تغير حياتهم للأفضل، بعد أن شاركهما نفس الموقف منذ سنوات قبل أن يتعافى من الإدمان ويؤسس الماركة الخاصة به لتصفيف الشعر والتي سرعان ما أصبح ماركة شهيرة لنجوم هوليوود.

Our Thanksgiving Day “One Cut at a Time” event in Venice Beach was a massive success. A huge thank you to everybody who showed up, pitched in and donated their labor, supplies and a tremendous giving spirit. You all made a difference! THEMENSGROOMER Foundation was also able to do some amazing things for people in need in our community at the event. We met a man named Star who needed a backpack and a bus ticket to Miami so he could take advantage of employment waiting for him there. DONE, thanks to your donations! A sweet homeless family who are living in their car, a woman named Sunny and her 10-year-old son James, clearly needed some shelter. The Foundation arranged a 5-night stay in an apartment to help them get back on their feet. James’s greatest hope for that stay? Watching the Cartoon Network! Finally, we met an old pro skateboarder named Knuckles, now homeless and living on the boardwalk, who plays in a great classic rock band with other homeless folks to make a little money. When I came back the following morning to bring Star his bus ticket and get Sunny set up in the apartment, I found Knuckles almost unconscious with hypothermia setting in. I learned that his tent, inundated with rain, had caved in early in the morning and he was soaked to the skin in dangerously cold temps. I had him strip down, literally gave him the clothes off my back (except my underwear, I’m not crazy!), and went to buy him thermals, a new tent and a sleeping bag. My kids and I came back, found him being cared for by the amazing people at @thewaterfrontvenice, set up his tent and helped him get settled. This is the difference THEMENSGROOMER Foundation can make with your help. In this case, we literally brought Knuckles back to life (p.s. he’s doing well now!). The money that you generously donate to the Foundation is used for exactly these types of situations and we thank you for making it possible to care for vulnerable people in our community. Our next event is our Holiday Event on December 15th in Venice Beach. We would love to see you there. You can make a bigger impact than you think!

وفي تصريحات لـ شنايدمان لجريدة newyork، قال "أعتقد أن قص الشعر يمكن أن يغير حياة شخص ما، فهى دائماً ما تغير مظهر الناس من الخارج والداخل بعد أن تتغير نظرة الناس والمجتمع لهم وهو ما يسهل عملية عودتهم للحياة الطبيعية بشكل أسرع، بالإضافة إلى غرس الثقة فيهم والسماح لهم بالعودة".

أطلق شنايدمان المدمن الذي تعافي من المخدرات أسم حملة "رد الجميل"، على حملته التى يقودها بشكل مستمر في التجول لتصفيف الشعر للمشردين، من أجل المساهمة في اعطاء فرصة للمشردين والمدمنين مرة آخري مثل الفرصة التي منحت له سابقاً لعودته مرة آخرى.

This is Star Lee , He is one of the many people that we were able to help this Thanksgiving! Stars Thanksgiving wish was to get a bus ticket to Miami so he could work, he has a job lined up there so through all the donations to ThemensGroomer Venmo from everybody we were able to purchase him a ticket and he’ll be leaving tomorrow he was also grateful to get his face and hair cleaned up a hot meal & a shower from @powerofashower There were so many hearts and hands out there today everybody got what they needed it was an amazing turn out what away to start Thanksgiving thank you to all the people who came and helped and donated from a far hope everybody has a safe and happy grateful Thanksgiving
